A special thanks to our Varsity Football Team! We appreciate all of the help this year especially around campus during your Serve Week 2022. We are so thankful for this group of young men who are willing to help wherever needed.
A special thanks to our National Elementary Honor Society and their families. They choose to use their community service hours to beautify our Outdoor Classroom. We can't wait for our Elementary students to see their artwork when they return to school in 4 weeks!
Congratulations to Class of 2022 graduate, Georgia Thompson! Georgia has completed the High School Leaders Program at the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
The Sorensen Institute’s High School Leaders Program offers concentrated study in Virginia politics and government for high school students from across the state over the course of two weeks. A typical High School Leaders Program class includes no more than 32 students who attend a public or private Virginia high school. Successful completion of the High School Leaders Program earns each student three graded college credits from the University of Virginia.
Way to go, junior, Riley Hack! Riley was chosen to attend the week-long Liberty Aviation Program this summer. He had a great time and would suggest it to anyone interested in the mechanics or flying side of aviation.
Liberty University's Aviation Maintenance Camp provides high school students with the opportunity to explore rewarding career paths in the aviation maintenance industry. Through hands-on projects and visits to multiple aviation maintenance facilities students are exposed to many of the prospective job opportunities that exist within this exciting industry. At camp, students experience the Liberty University campus while participating in hands-on maintenance projects where they are exposed to the skills needed to maintain and repair aircraft including riveting, turbine engine theory, and more.
We love ASCS because of the family and God-centered atmosphere. Julian fell in love with ASCS from the very start. In 2017 Julian was blessed with the opportunity to shadow the school for the day, prior to enrollment. When I picked up my then second grader he had the biggest smile on his face. He said, “Mom, I made friends and everyone treated me kindly!” From that day until today we are proud to be a part of the Atlantic Shores family. The entire faculty and staff have encompassed one of our go-to scriptures which is Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” As mom and dad, we have been blessed to be able to be a part of his education and share many cherished memories. ~Tina, Julian's Mom
The Bryants consider Shores as their primary ministry. They chose Shores for their children because it was important that Christ has a prominent role in the education of Kelly and Madeline.
