Atlantic Shores Christian School

For over 39 years, Atlantic Shores Christian School has been recognized in the Hampton Roads area for perfecting the unique combination of academic excellence and Christian education. Beginning at the preschool level, our commitment is to educate the whole student. We seek to provide a nurturing, balanced, well-rounded educational experience that will help young men and women achieve everything that God has in store for them.

With two buildings, housing grades K3 through 12, and more than 850 students enrolled at the school, we pride ourselves on our high academic and spiritual standards. Our impressive selection of choices, not only in the academic curriculum but also in athletics, fine arts, student activities, spiritual development, and community service, provides a unique opportunity to encourage our students to find their perfect balance.

As we daily impact our students’ lives spiritually, we expect a tradition of academic excellence to be fundamental to our mission. Our commitment to you, our Shores families, is to prepare spiritually strong individuals who continue to shatter academic records previously achieved by the classes before them.

In early 2019, the “Transforming Today, Impacting Tomorrow” vision plan was launched. This project resulted in two campuses becoming one complex on the current Chesapeake campus. Through this capital campaign, a new 44,000-square-foot Elementary facility was built. The project was large, but we are thrilled to have taken this step in the long-term vision for a life-changing impact on the lives of children in our families, our churches, and our community.

Atlantic Shores has experienced unprecedented growth and is nearing capacity at all of our buildings. As a result, we are preparing to take the next step in our growth plan and are launching a new capital campaign, “Building Tomorrow’s Masterpieces Today.” Through this project, we will undertake the construction of a 41,000-square-foot performing arts center. This building will accommodate graduations, Christmas concerts, chapels, and more for decades to come. This building will also include ten additional academic classrooms and allow for much-needed space for after-school and extracurricular activities.

Your Invitation

We truly believe there is no greater mission than to partner with the home and the church in order to lead all students into higher levels of excellence spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally so that they can impact their world for Christ. The Lord is calling us to make an even greater educational and spiritual difference in our students and an even broader impact in the Hampton Roads community. Please join us by Building Tomorrow’s Masterpieces Today.

As a part of the school’s family of support, you have the opportunity to make a difference. We hope that you share our vision for Atlantic Shores Christian School, and we ask you to prayerfully consider making a commitment in support of the campaign. Gifts to Atlantic Shores Christian School are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this request.
